Nickel Barn

Located in Oakville’s Halter Valley, the Vineyard House Winery’s Nickel barn is a unique project situated 47 acres of land which is a little visited side of the valley in the foothills of the Mayacamus Mountains. Conceived by proprietor Jeremy Nickle, the barn is extension of his family’s rich legacy and history in the Napa Valley.

The Vineyard House Winery

His father, Gil Nickel, was one of the founders of Far Niente, and later, Nickel & Nickel. The wines of Vineyard House pay tribute to his father Gil. The Nickel Barn is an event space, a classic car display, and winery office all in one building. The barn structure was built with traditional timber beam framing, known as Mortise and Tenon joinery.
